Worldbuilding
A land of two warring nations, ancient powers, and a god who forges worlds the way a smith forges steel.
The lands of the Five Shields and the Rodeam.
Two Nations
An old alliance of kingdoms ruled by King Draven and, increasingly, his heir Perditia. Once ironclad, their bond with the Rodeam is now all but shattered as war looms on the border.
A tyrannical nation rewriting its troubled past and experimenting on its own people. Power seems to gather here — and not all of it is human.
Magic
Potence is the living power of Olas, harnessed by those called Temporers. It can be drawn naturally — slow, disciplined, clean — or taken in pre-made potions for sudden strength.
But the potions exact a toll. They cloud judgment, change those who lean on them, and bind the user to whoever brewed them. Power, in Olas, is never free.
Sorcery
Sorcery in Olas runs along colors — each a domain of its own.
Faith & Realms
Olas is the work of a smith — a master forger who pulled the stars and planets from his forge as glowing masses of metal, then shaped men and beasts from what remained. When the world is broken, he re-forges its pieces anew.
He is served by the Auguries — ancient harbingers who light his forge and tend its flames when hope for good is lost. Beyond the physical world lies Etheria, the ethereal realm, reached only through the rare and wandering Wisp Trees.
